Globe Run For Home

Run for Home is Globe's and Ayala Land Inc.'s first running event. It aims to help fund Habitat For Humanity’s on-going construction of houses in "Bayan Ni Juan in Calauan," a housing relocation site in Brgy. Dayap Calauan, Laguna under the Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig Project of ABS-CBN Foundation. The event was held last July 19.

Galing naman, Kathy. Gaano kalayo ung tinakbo mo at nakatapos ka ba?

Nagkaroon din kame rito ng Fun Run eh, company sponsored lang at sa charitable institutions mapupunta ung proceeds.

5K ung tinakbo ko. akshali, di naman ako tumakbo. hehe. jog and lakad na alternate. sayang nga kasi mali ung narecord na time ng pagtakbo namin. kasi na-late kami sa gun shot ng mga 30 minutes. hehe.

kung interested kayo, madami pa. meron ung kenny rogers, medyo mahal lang (P600 ata) pero may kasama kasing food. hehe. meron din race for cancer naman. eto ung details na alam ko:

guys baka interested kayo, meron din fun run ang ABS CBN for the benefit of Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig. medyo matagal pa sya, November pa, kaya madami pang time para magpraktis. hehe. merong 3K, 5K, 10K at 42K full marathon. kung sasali kayo, kitakits na lang dun!

Registration Period & Venues:
August 17 to September 12 - 10am to 9pm at the ECO DASH Registration booths near Glorietta Activity Center near the Ground Floor Concierge booths of Greenbelt 3; Alabang Town Center and TriNoma; Central Plaza Entrance/Exit of Market! Market!; Nike Park - Bonifacio High Street.

Registration Fee:
P250 for 3KM & 5KM
P300 for 10KM & 21KM
P400 for on-site registration, all categories

Discounted Registration Fees:
Donate any recyclable item w/ a minimum weight of 1kg and get P50 off on the registration fee. Accepted recyclables are paper (white, colored or newspaper), aluminum cans, plastics, used ink cartridges, and PET bottles. Recyclables proceeds shall go to Bantay Kalikasan.

NOTE: Only the first 2000 runners across all Ayala Malls who registered for the 3KM/5KM/10KM/21KM will receive free singlets.

sumali ako sa 5KM run. takbo na guysh! sa mga interested, punta kayo glorietta habang maaga pa para may singlet kayo. hehe. :P

wag ka mag-alala kris madami pang ibang pagkakataon, lalo na kung gusto mo talaga. hehe. sali tayo sa takbo para sa ilog pasig ng ABSCBN. sa november pa yun, dami mo pang chance magprepare. hehe.

kinakabahan nga ako para dito sa takbo ko ng Sept 13 e, di na kasi ako nakakapagjog these days, laging late na nakakauwi. goodluck saken.
